Terms of Use

These terms apply to OathLock (the "App"), published by TOOLBOX SERVICES (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to them. If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What OathLock does

OathLock is a self-control tool. You choose apps and websites to block and start a timed focus session. While a session is running, the chosen apps and websites are blocked and the App may prevent itself from being uninstalled or disabled.

2. Sessions are meant to be hard to stop

You understand that this is the purpose of the App. In Normal mode, a session can only be ended early after a waiting period. In Strict mode, a session cannot be ended early at all. Only block apps you can do without for the length of the session. Phone calls, emergency services and system settings are never blocked.

Operating systems allow some ways around blocking, such as safe mode on Android or turning off Screen Time access on iPhone. We do not guarantee that blocking cannot be bypassed.

3. OathLock Pro subscriptions and purchases

• OathLock Pro is offered as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

4. Acceptable use

Use the App only on devices you own or are allowed to manage, and only to manage your own usage. Do not use it to control another adult's device.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be error-free or that it will work with every device, browser or app.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed messages, missed work or lost data resulting from apps or websites being blocked during a session you started. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it after your current session ends.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
